Registration is under way for the first-ever Battle of the Bands for musicians ages 13 to 18. The competition won’t be held until Sept. 26, but the entry deadline – July 31 – is nearing. AURORA – Registration has begun for the Summer Scramble at Orchard Valley Golf Course.
The four-person scramble will be held Sunday, Aug. 16. Tee times begin at 7 a.m. and will be assigned upon receipt of entry fee and completed form.
Entry fee is $260 per team, which includes event purse and green fees. Riding carts are $16 per rider and range tokens are available for $5. An optional cash skins game is available at $20 per team. In the event no skins occur, money will be added to the event purse.
Based on a full field of 40-plus teams, four flights will be determined after play is complete. Four teams will be paid in each flight.
